*winter birds*

How sweet are these snowflake wrens from SeaPinks? I will be getting at least one this season. I want to perch him (or her) on a stack of books. I can see that they would be addictive, however. One might get lonely! How lucky then that they are under $10?!

{Gifts of Stationery}

I *heart* pretty cards. That might be the reason why I'm bringing back the flat notes section in the shop. It's especially great for those who don't have the space or can't commit to art for their walls, but want to enjoy some photography all the same. I know I'll be giving some as gifts during the holidays. Shhhhh... I'm not saying to whom! =)

The word was "make."

Words To Shoot By is live with my three photos for the word "make." Here's the first two. See what I made in the final shot over here. I'll meet you there, cause I can't wait to see what everyone else was inspired by.

Tsk Tsk

Wintery goodness.

I'm feeling more inspired lately to create and find beauty. (The last several months were spent just trying to find a fix for nausea and exhaustion.) Aren't these prints beautiful? I'm so inspired. I especially love the delicate white lines in Tsk Tsk's gorgeous work.

It's quiet winter goodness to me.

Two for me, two for baby.

We've got SNOW! And lots of it. But before it all fell, I complied these goodies to go with this shot I took while we were doing last minute fall yard work. And now all this snow is making me think of Christmas presents. Hmmmmm... some of these things may have to seriously get purchased now. ; )

Allya:
mini true romantic pouch. Little Sapling Toys: baby's first blocks. Rabbitsmoon: eileen elephant. Thrush: moss circle scarf.

See you tomorrow!

I've been busy today packing up all kinds of goodies (photo boxes, magnets, and flat notes!) to go along with the prints you will find at my booth tomorrow.

So, grab a latte at Nokomis Beach Coffee and head over to the lake for the 3rd Annual Nokomis Urban Craft Fair.

I heard there might be some snow in the forecast. I don't know about you, but that TOTALLY gets me in the gift buying state of mind. And getting it done the sooner the better will be great. That way I can enjoy December stress-free, baking all the things I never have time for because I have to run around finishing up my list.

See you tomorrow!

Blue eyes, projects, and rolling into the weekend.

I follow @grnweddingshoes on Twitter and yesterday she posted the prettiest wedding on her blog. I'm most in awe of the photographer, Kristen Marie. This is my new favorite favorite favorite photograph. Seeing through the caning on the chair back, through the woodwork, through the tablecloth, through the window in the background... *sigh* such greatness. And plain and simply, those BLUE EYES. Are you kidding me? Perfection.

Well, happy Friday all! After coming to a standstill on some projects for Nokomis Urban Craft Fair next Saturday (woo-hoo!) I've got some time to actually clean this place up, and I better take advantage of it. I like going into the weekend with a clean house, how about you?

See you next week!

Canada, pizza, and let's redo the living room.

What's the deal with Canada having all the best design shows? I refound Sarah Richardson the other week and I kept the episode where she did this room on my dvr forever. I'm so obsessed with the easy and slightly girly feel to it. It's like the pink inside of a seashell. (The mirror being off center drives me alittle nutzo, but I'd deal with it!)
My heading into winter-nesting-redecorating-and overall coziness making mind is telling me to redo our living and dining room. And I recently had a run-in with some pizza and the cushion on our couch. Oops. But we've had it for a long time and it's served us well, even though it came from a discount warehouse and traveled cross country twice. So at the moment I'm dreaming of a velvety white sofa and an overall Swedish feel. At least what my mind thinks Swedish looks like. ; ) (Moa, maybe you could help me with this one?)

Hmmmm... it's interesting that my interior aspirations are coming from Canada and Sweden. I mean, we all three suffer from long cold winters. It's pretty understandable now that I'd be drawn to them. Now I feel like I should dig deeper for more inspiration. Do you find that you do the same thing? Or do you go for the complete opposite areas of the world from where you live?
