The Weekly Holiday: week 25

My hardy geraniums survived the storms.
Moa's watermelon salad was apart of her midsummer's eve feast.

Such is summer.
Delicious and juicy, with a side of humidity, thunder and lightning.

The Weekly Holiday: week 24

I cut some strawberries for the babe's lunch.
Moa picked some wildflowers.

I imagine them all sharing the same counter.  =)

The Weekly Holiday: week 23

Me: Frittata goodness with a side of sausage and tomatoes.
Moa: The twine holding her tomato plant to it's stake.

This may be my favorite combo ever.
Happy Monday!

The Weekly Holiday: week 22

My nail polish, and Moa's packaging from a shopping trip to find a swimsuit, must mean we both had girlie, spa-like goodness on our minds last week.  I'm also a bit captivated by the shape of the Ingrids label and the handle of my faucet... there is a similarity there that makes me smile.  I'm always amazed at the links between our photos even though we don't talk about what we are going to shoot.

And on a different topic: Names of nail polish colors.  VIP Status?  Tea and Crumpets?  I think I really need that job.  There has to be alcohol consumed before one gets down to business.  They must laugh all day.  If you know for a fact that it's actually a highly stressful or depressing job, don't tell me.  I don't want to know.

Reviewing May

Rain and more rain, yet we lived in the backyard.  So many meetings and questions.  The zoo, lots of playdates with little friends, finally a bunch of trips to buy flowers and herbs.  Drinking tea and revisiting the dock.  Feeling so lucky that we have such good friends.  I just wanted to snuggle in bed, unless of course, we're going out for Mother's Day brunch.  And colds, what colds?
