A rain-filled weekend was in the forecast. The anniversary of the day my guy and I met was Friday. It's been 19 years. We pack one little bag for the three of us (kid included) and headed here. Duluth, Minnesota. Where we went to school. Rain is always better on a lake. Followed up by a hotel with a warm swimming pool. (Which the boys enjoyed beyond measure.) Me. I'll take the next day, with my camera and these views.
Actually, I'll take it all. It was wonderful.
To be honest, there were some pretty big messes, but that's how it goes when you roll with a 2 year old. Still we'll never forget it.
