Where will you be for the holidays? I will be at paper n stitch because the spaces there make me giddy. Seriously. If you haven't heard of PNS yet, then you can catch up on the site and the founder Brittni's history and happenings here. But if you're already familiar with all the goodness that is PNS, then let's get comfy and go check out the new exhibit, including my space (Yay!), and let the drooling begin. I'm getting my wallet ready too. Holiday gift shopping is so much better here in my pajamas and slippers... malls are so last year. ; )
P.S. PNS readers can enjoy a special deal on my prints through December 13th... Buy one, Get one 1/2 off! The details are at the top of my exhibit space. Enjoy!
The intricacies of these cuts could have me mezmerized for hours, and I really just love the hearts and stars, it's like a grown up version of a notebook doodle.
Why, oh why am I not a "neutral" girl in real life? I want to devour this room! The legs on that cabinet, the molding (and the darker ceiling, hello yum), and those floor pillows with their fuzzy accessories. I want to repaint my house asap (and restain the floors!).
These boots arrived and I'm hoping we can be good friends. ; ) I'm going to test run them at work... *fingers-crossed*
Every single image from this engagement shoot is perfection. I'm not sure what I wish more; that I was the photographer or the gorgeous girl with the adorable bangs. xoxoClick the images for their sources, you really really must!

The Edina Family Center's gift boutique was a success last night! Here is my booth. My sweet booth. My very FIRST booth. =) What do ya think?The cream colored top to my tablecloth has a row of scallops across the bottom, it's hard to tell from this angle I think. My mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law sewed it from my design. I love it. It's cream, but there is a tiny pattern to it that reminds me of my hallway's vintage wallpaper.
The minty table on the side was one that I bought at an auction, for I think $5. It's got a pretty thick coat of paint because I didn't get the mintiness right the first time. My favorite thing about it is that is gets twice as long when the drop downs on each side are put out.
The hubs made my "clothesline" and the 4 section cubby and my area wouldn't have been the same without them. Thanks nerd!
And the wooden file boxes came from Ikea, but I haven't been able to find them on their website, so I think they might be discontinued. Boo.
All in all, I think was a great success. I'd never done an actual booth at a craft fair before, but I set a goal in my mind, and thankfully I hit it on target. I haven't had a chance to think over what I would do differently, I'm rather sleep deprived at the moment, but I just wanted to quick share with you!
I hope you've woken up to a great Friday! And now that things have settled down a bit, I hope to see you more. Have a great weekend!
{Special thank you to Dorie, Dawne, Terrin, Ellery, Mom, Grandma, Dee, and Ben. Your support made it feel like it was my birthday! And thanks so much to Teri, who invited me to be apart of such a fun event!}
Are you local? Then by all means stop by my table at this fun event in Edina Thursday night! I'd love to see your friendly faces. =) I'll be selling my photography as prints, sets of flat notes, and holiday cards. I'll also have new cool photo boxes that you won't find in my shop! And oh yeah, there will be candy. Gotta have some candy...{Just click the invite for more information.}
Happy Friday!
What makes me happy today? Besides balloons of course! AND the fact that it's Friday. AND the warm weather we are getting! =)
}{ This living room. I still want a room this color. I love it with warm wood, brassy mirrors, and the touches of white. And now I want to bring our tv up from the basement and put it in front of our very similar fireplace.
}{ These shoes. I see wearing them with skinny jeans and a big chunky sweater in navy or grey.
}{ These paintings. I found this artist while clicking links over at Holly's and I'm adoring these ladies. I especially love the one called Whisper, the last one on this page, with the cute pink eyelids.
}{ The buttons here. I go to an art store that has them strategically placed near the register. I've bought four... so far... ; )
}{ This exhibit. If I wasn't so busy this weekend I'd head over to see it. Still, I'm happy to know that it's in Minneapolis and I know I'll get to it sometime!
What makes you happy today?

How did it get to Wednesday already?I'm here to offer you some polaroids that I took this past March. Back then I won a super sweet polaroid camera on Ebay, but after taking a few photos I stopped because at the time we all thought that polaroid film was gone, and I just wasn't sure if I liked what I was doing with this precious pack of film... my second to last pack at the time, and actually my second to last pack still. I'm so happy to learn that polaroid is living on-- three cheers! Yay! But I have not ventured back to that pack and 1/2 of film just yet.
Now, months and months later, I'm looking at these two shots, and truth be told, I adore them. Sometimes all it takes is time and distance to see things anew and appreciate things for what they are.
Maybe it's because we have now rolled into November. Can you believe it? I sure can't. I mean, I can't believe it is Wednesday, much less November! But it has me thinking of the past year, and looking at things from a bit of a distance, and looking for the lessons. I've learned that nothing happens as fast as I want it to. From healing after my surgery, to growing my shop. But then, when I stop and look at things, I do realize that I've come such a long way. It's a nice feeling.I hope you're Wednesday shows you how far you've come! xoxo
